About Final Trades Today

Final Trades Today is an unofficial scoreboard of the final trades from CNBC's Fast Money. It keeps a page for each episode and marks every pick from the close on the day the show aired.

Entry

The entry is the regular-session close on the US air date, because the show airs after the bell. If that date was a market holiday, the entry is the prior session within five days.

Checkpoints

One day, one week, and three months use the first close on or after the entry plus that amount of calendar time. The one-month window starts on the air date itself: from the air-date close to the first close on or after the air date plus one month. Short and bearish calls win when the price falls.

Exits

Exit timing is unknown. The show does not publish when a trader gets out, so these checkpoints are not a closed trade. A pick can be ahead or behind by the time the trader is actually done.
